El presente artículo se inscribe dentro del marco epistemológico abierto por Heidegger respecto a la hermenéutica como instancia irreductible para la investigación en las ciencias sociales. El objetivo que se propone este artículo es rescatar esa instancia y complementarla con una dimensión basada en el acontecimiento que en la actualidad pareciera estar ausente en la investigación científica. Para ello, plantearemos algunos elementos preliminares que permitan construir, a largo plazo y en diálogo con la comunidad científica, un protocolo para la investigación científica que pueda dar cuenta de una dimensión basada en el acontecimiento.
