O conceito de família e a percepção da juventude da Assembleia de Deus

The objective of the article is to discuss the formation of the concept of family and its transformation over the centuries and, from there, to discuss the perception of the youth of the Assembly of God about this concept. The research that gave rise to this work aimed to understand which factors (religious ethos, leaderships, educational level, family influence, political groups and others) influence the positioning of the youth of the Assembly of God in relation to the category of accusation “gender ideology”, which directly touches on the concepts of gender, sexuality and family. To this end, two focus groups were carried out, in the years 2018 and 2019, with young people from an AD church located in the municipality of Seropédica (municipality with the highest rate of evangelicals).
