Abstract

What kind of change would be promoted in the sociabilities structures and
dynamics as well as in the familiar agriculture territories of the Brazilian Nothern semi-arid,
mainly in the Jacuipe Bay Territory, located in the state of Bahia by the appropriation and use
of money public programs of income transference such as Bolsa Família? In the last decades,
the rural area of semi-arid region is undergoing profound economics, political and social
changes.as well as, by a deepening of its heterogeneities. Such a situation present itselves
polarized, in two extremes the”territories for the production of wealth,” at one extreme, by
the other, the “territories of attractiveness” or income transference. In this context, if by one
side all regions are increasingly subordinated to the logic of capital manifested in its excellence
through the money, by the other, are different for both types of territories, the money, the
modes of appropriation and uses that one makes of them. The Territory Jacuípe Basin has
being increasingly structured and motivated by money generated from public transfrence and
not by the production of wealth. This phenomenon induces changes in the systems of services,
of production and in the reproductive as well. This result in a significant change in the social
represetation, which gives rise to a new rurality or new territories of life. The concepts of
sociability, path, disembedding and money lead the work. It suggests that a study under this
theme require an articulation between the daily and economics sociologies.
