The purpose of this article is to observe the woman's history starting from the
memory of Carolina Maria de Jesus in Quarto de despejo: diário de uma favelada (2005). In thisautobiography it is patent not only the author's of the diary figure, but also it can apprehend a
collective experience. Experience, for example, of voices silenced, to the margin of the central
speech, as of women. For so much, we used the theoretical apparatus of BAHIA (2000).
