Abstract

The project "Interdisciplinarity as an Example of Learning" combined Physical Education and Environmental Education to promote health and environmental awareness. Conducted with 70 students and their parents at Professor Henrique Brod Municipal School, Toledo-PR, it included lectures and walks to the São Francisco River. The methodology involved stretching exercises, environmental observation, and discussions about pollution impacts. Participants learned that physical activities do not require high costs and that sustainable practices benefit both health and the environment. It concludes that interdisciplinary integration enhances environmental and physical education, reinforcing the importance of individual roles in the ecosystem.
