Abstract

Since the 1980s, the sport is protagonist theme of intense academic debate in Physical Education, especially, when we’re treating the sport as learning content in school. This article discusses with Brazilian Physical Education’s representative authors about this theme. It starts with analysis about the inclusion of the sport as the Physical Education’s content and considerations and didactic propositions are realized about the pedagogical treatment with this culture movement’s element in school, based on the proposal critical-emancipatory.
