Abstract

This article aims to identify the influence area of economic centers in Brazil, through a gravity model of regionalization. This model is based on domestic migration and accessibility between the economic centers and municipalities. For the purposes this work, it was considered the most populated municipalities of the IBGE's geographical micro-regions as economic centers. The recent economic dynamics of these micro-regions is also analyzed, based on a synthetic indicator of economic and demographic growth.
