A instituição religiosa e a organização urbana no contexto do migrante zoroastriano na Inglaterra

Abstract

It is inserted in the dialogue between the religious field and the phenomenon of migration that the present article seeks to be qualified. Based on this relation, the presence of the religious institution in the migratory context is analyzed, working specifically with the case of Zoroastrian migrants living in England (2019) and the role of the Zoroastrian Trust Funds of Europe (ZTFE) in the adept’s life. Furthermore, it is aimed to investigate the urban organization of London, evaluating the business and establishments associated with Asians’ migrants. For this purpose, will be explored oral sources (interviews and questionnaires with migrants’ adepts) and field record sources (fieldwork). The sources are analyzed based on the concept study of Memory, Orality and Migration, and indicates an interesting dialogue between the social and religious spheres, regarding the functionalities of the religious institution, which is characteristic of the migrants context. It is also observed the presence and strong permanence of the Zoroastrian community in England that carries on its trajectory, process of accommodation and challenges that the foreigner faces at the destination.
