ESPACIO Y TERRITORIO MBYA GUARANÍ - NUEVOS ACTORES Y NUEVOS CAMINOS EN LA RESOLUCIÓN DE LA PROBLEMÁTICA DE LA POSESIÓN DE LA TIERRA EN RESERVA DE BIOSFERA YABOTY, MISIONES, ARGENTINA

Abstract

Since its creation, Yaboty Biosphere Reserve, in the Center - East of the province of Misiones, has been planned not only to resolve the question of the preservation of the natural conditions of its biological characteristics. It was thought that this new territorial form under supranational management parameters would also resolve the controversial issue of development and, moreover, that it would be a relief to the interethnic problems of possession of the land.This paper, after making a theoretical presentation on the construction of space and a brief review of some of the most important approaches about spatiality and mobility Mbya Guarani community in Argentina and Brazil, tries to analyse one of the new ways in which the question of right of possession and use of the land was being configured. Specifically, the paper presents some novel features which, in the bid for the rights attributed by the earth, international NGOs appear with particular forms of action to solve the matter of the historical dispute.
