Abstract

It is analyzed, by means of a study of case in Cascavel - Paraná the social and economic aspects of the fashion, searching to identify the importance that it has for the society and the exerted direct influence in the consumption. The attainment of data had been provided for primary sources, thru research of field in Shopping JL and the sidewalk of the Brazil Avenue, using questionnaires. Of the interviewed ones, 40% had defined that the fashion is to have style, opinion and proper taste, that is, the people that dress as they feel well. The aspects that caracterized the fashion, in sequence of importance, had been: to feel themselves well proper, and to have good taste. Of the total, 66% worry about fashion, on the other hand, 34% are not worried. In this direction, 73% and 57% are verified that women worry more than men, respectively. I was also noticed that the people who gain greater income worry more about the fashion.
