Abstract

This article aims to analyze how African culture is rescued in Brazilian children's literature, through a literature and analytical research in books. Thus, works such as The cruse of gold, DuduCalunga and Berimbau, Brazilian writer Joel Rufino dos Santos, are some of the children's narratives analyzed, where there is the presence of African myths and beliefs that are narrated and told from the point of view of black, with symbolic ties that sustain the identity of companies from different times. Other works of authors such as Ruth Rocha and Heloise Pietro Pires are also among the narratives analisadas.Para this work to take place, we sought the theoretical background on authors such as Alfredo Bosi, Gilberto Freyre and Fanny Abramovich, among others.
