ALGUMAS QUESTÕES REFERENTES À APROXIMAÇÃO DA LINGUÍSTICA CONTRASTIVA E AS CIÊNCIAS DO LÉXICO

Abstract

Empirical studies evaluate the presupposition that the Portuguese and the Spanisch languages share, in various semantic fields, nearly 85% of their lexicon. Based on such a statement one could deduce that the development of the lexical competence in the Spanish languge on the part of Brazilians is something that does not suppose any difficulty since its mother tongue is Portuguese.Obviously, such interference happens due to the confluence of several elementes, in oppositon to the simplistic notion that learning vocabulary is substituting mother tongue words and structures  for the language that is the object of study. In this work we posit that what what the Contrastive Linguistics and the Sciences of theLexion havei m common, can be a way to better undestand the development process of the lexical component of the Spanish language by Brazilian studente of that language.The Contrastive Linguistics sheds light with scientific basis, on the similaritires and differences between the languages under study, and the Sciences of the Lexicon grasp,  specifically,  the phenomena involved in the knowledge of a lexical unit.
