Abstract

The Vocabolario degli Accademici della Crusca, first monolngual dictionary of a Roman language, was printed at Veneza, in the year of 1612, and, was following reedited in 1612, 1623. 1691, 1729/1738 and 1863. Immediately many people had interest in it but, at the same time, the book provoked vehement discussions as it followed the purist PietroBembo orientaion who defended archaic Italian language tradition. In spite of being so criticized, one could not disconsiderer the relevance of this book for the humankind:due to the richness of the informational paradigm, especially for the changes made at the definitional paradigm which no longer presented only synomyms  .but also  tryed to give a definition of the entry lexical item.In this work, we intend to analyse linguistics borrowings from Portuguese language in the ultimate  editon (1863) verifying the lexicografic treatment given to some of the borrowings.  Finally, the Vocabolario degli Accademici della Crusca is contrasted with the Dicionário da Língua Portuguesa by Morais and Silva, second edition (1813).
