Abstract

In the story “Curtamão”, of `Tutaméia (terceiras estórias)', by Guimarães Rosa, the narrator marks narratee’s presence. That is, he considers yourself to tell it, but he includes, in this act, the essential participation of a second person, in order to act  with him. Our work intends to show the importance of the narratee, in this story and its active participation in the construction of the narrator’s speech. Also, we analyze how, from this structuration, the text focuses the action of to tell, standing out the artistic’s creation process, in general way, and the importance of the active function of the art’s addressee, in order to complete the artistic object as such.
