ABSTRACT:
Longitudinal care is provided throughout the years, where there is a bound between the user and the Primary Health Care professional team. The current study had as an objective to evaluate the longitudinal care when it comes to the basic services that comprise the Sanitary District Vila Carli in the municipality of Guarapuava, State of Parana, beginning from its users. This is a quantitative and evaluative study, and its data has been collected through the PCATool, along with 379 Primary Health Care users from the same district above mentioned from November 2015 to June 2016, and its analysis was performed through simple descriptive statistics. The results showed that the majority of participants are female (71.8%), at a productive age (34%), high school diploma (30.3%) and more than 95% of the population has basic sanitation, but only 62.5% owns a car. When it comes to its overall score, the majority has been positively evaluated, with a score between 5.1-6.0 (38.5%), and the essential score between 6.1-7.0 (33.51%). Longitudinal score results were low, where the majority less or equal to 5.0 (44.59%). It has been concluded that the PHC evaluation of longitudinally is extremely important, showing that it should be better performed by both professionals and users. They should improve care performance, which will lead to better user satisfaction when it comes to health services.
