Abstract

In the Field of lexical studies polysemy and homonymy still continue to be controversial topics. On the one hand, there is no agreement on the linguistic status of these two phenomena,  because some theories deny there are part of linguistics concern. On the other hand, there is in lexicography neither good solutions, do the fact that grouping  definitions under a unique lemma or grouping sets of them in two or more lemmas with identical phonological and orthographic structure is not necessary supported by theoretical founded criteria. This paper aims at offering a panorama of polysemic and homonymic arrangements in semasiological dictionaries.
