In this paper we tried to present a reading of the novel A Chave de Casa (Home’s key), a self-fictional narrative written by Tatiana Salém Levy, emphasizing the representations of the relationship between mother and daughter and its influences to the narrative. To accomplish that, we identified the novel’s context from a point of view that intends itself aware of the different theoretical discussions about writings of itself. During this paper, themes as “body”, “gender”, “power relationship” and “identity” are brought up to inquire the novel.Downloads
