AS NOVAS TECNOLOGIAS COMO FERRAMENTAS DE APRENDIZAGEM NO ENSINO FUNDAMENTAL

As novas tecnologias, como a Internet, estão presentes no cotidiano da população e apresentam-se como ferramentas importantes na execução das atividades diárias das pessoas. Dessa forma, acredita-se que a internet possa ser um instrumento positivo também no campo educacional, auxiliando os professores em relação à aprendizagem dos educandos. Nesse contexto, o presente estudo objetivou investigar qual o papel da tecnologia virtual, especificamente o uso da internet frente à aprendizagem de educandos do Ensino Fundamental da Escola Municipal Ivo Welter, localizada no município de Toledo - PR. Como forma de coleta de dados, optou-se pela utilização de diários, de maneira que os alunos investigados fizeram o registro das aulas de informática em seus próprios diários. Os principais resultados apontam que a internet motiva os alunos a buscarem o conhecimento; a serem persistentes e dedicados aos estudos; amplia o vocabulário do grupo e desenvolve a concentração das crianças. Com isso, o professor percebe a internet como uma nova metodologia de aprendizagem disponível, cabendo a ele o papel de realizar as adaptações necessárias no processo para a integração entre o ensino e as novas tecnologias.
