Abstract

The autoethnography is a methodology used by academia in order to give validity to research which the author is an integral part culture’s study. Thus, this methodology allows expliciting knowledge regarding the experience, and in the case of this article, to attend a post graduate. It was used techniques for data collection such (a) self-reflexive narrative, (b) semi-structured interviews with narrative’s participants (c) self-interview by a colleague of class. The result of ongoing analysis gave rise to uncertainty and socialization issues. The first generated by the interdisciplinary characteristics of my education and the range of opportunities that I have. The second issue appears as a lack of life experience and afraid to commit and did not meet expectations. Therefore, living’s experience of a postgraduate provoked the emergence of these themes, which have occurred, but that might be perceived and best worked through of authnography’s methodology.
