DISTANCE EDUCATION: THE COURSE OF PEDAGOGY OF NAVIRAI/MS IN FOCUS

This work has as object of study the Distance Education in the city of Naviraí/MS. The aim of this study is to discuss issues related to teacher formation process in Distance Learning. A literature review was conducted concerning the theoretical discussing the Distance Education of Pedagogy, and a questionnaire was administered to the teachers and students of institutions that offer the course of Pedagogy at Distance. Methodologically it was used the qualitative-descriptive research. We realize that distance education is becoming an opportunity for people to realize a higher level course, because many do not have the time to attend classroom university. It was demonstrated through the analysis of data that learning in distance education happens similarly to classroom teaching, because we know that the teacher is the mediator of education, it has the role to explain the content and take questions from students, but it depends on each student's interest in acquiring knowledge and seek different ways for their learning happen successfully to become a qualified professional to work in education. The fact is that the institutions, private, state or federal, are providing more and more teaching through distance education in their poles, and thus be able to contribute to the training of citizens in contemporary society.
