This essay analysis A flor da pele, from Armando Freitas Filho, and intends to debate the importance of negativity on three procedures of this work. At first, on the relations between word and image on the 1978’s edition of the poem. Second, on the quotation of a dictionary’s entry. At last, on the series created by the successive reproduction of the dictionary text.
