THE CONTRIBUINDO UNIVERSITY IN TRAINING THROUGH THE CITIZENS OF UNIVERSITY EXTENSION: THE CASE OF THE PROJECT SPECIFIC "MUSIC, POETRY AND CITIZENSHIP"

Abstract

The objective of this research is to describe the action of Social Responsibility, in the sense of citizens’ formation, within de Extension Project named "Music, Poem e Citizenhood", proposed by the Interdisciplinar Dinamic Museum of Estate University of Maringa, Paraná. The Descreptive Research was the base for this work, beside the Bibliography Research that gave the necessary support for the discussion about the Extension, since its appearence till its use as an instrument by the Superior Education Institutions. It was used too Documents’ Analyses by treating specifically about the Extension Project "Music, Poem e Citizen", that was formalized at the Estate University of Maringa, in 2005, July, as the Process nº 1926/05. The access to this material was possible because the researcher is member of the Project, what gave the possibility of Participating Observation, or, the results obtained by the Project could be observed by the researcher, not only during the elaboration of this article, but since de "Music, Poem and Citizenhood" Extension Project introduction. The objective of the research is to analyse the contribution of State University of Maringa for the citizen development through the Universitarian Extension, using like base, specifically, the Extension Project "Music, Poem and Citizenhood". A work of conscientious and development of citizen using music and poem could sound as fancy. So, the challenger of analyzing this project, its reach, wich results were being obtained, seems like a pleasent work and stuffed of surprises.
