Abstract

In this text are presented, in general, some considerations concerning the organization of the teaching of higher education from the critical analysis of contextual epistemological basis of recent years, dealing with educational practices developed by projects, here called "learning through projects ". Considering the scope and scale of that theme, this work focuses on some issues, as follows: a) what theories of education support educational practices developed through projects? or: what theories of education support educational practices known as "learning through projects"? b) what principles guide the development of pedagogic activities from the learning projects? c) what steps are necessary for the development of learning projects? d) How educational practices must be arranged considering the possibilities of learning projects development on higher education? Involved in this analysis, it highlights positions and possibilities for the development of learning through projects, highlighting possible conceptual changes processed in recent years. It presents some principles that can contribute to the structuring of teaching higher education focused on learning projects, considering the steps that are necessary for its development. In its final part, reflects briefly about educational processes that are organized from learning projects, highlighting some essential elements on this subject.
