WOMEN UNDER SEBASTIÃO SALGADO`S POINT OF VIEW: PHOTOGRAPHY AND PRODUCTION OF MEANING

Through the elements of image and the relationships of meaning between them, photographers can speak to their audience. This article will analyze three photographs from the book Exodus that portray women in different parts of the world under Sebastião Salgado‟s point of view. A different strategy to read images will be used, considering photographic language, aesthetics and iconographic, in addition to the bibliography on photography and image.
