This text was presented as part of the exhibit/homenagem with the same title that was part of the programming of the Seminário Centenário de dois imortais: Machado de Assis e Guimarães Rosa, that happened at UFMG – Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais in the period of September 29 to October 02, 2008. The academic students of the 3rd year of the course of Visual Arts - Degree and Bacharelado - Qualification in plastic arts of UFMS – Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul participated of the exhibit.
