Abstract

From the experience with the subject "Dialectology and geolinguistic in Brazil," taught by Professor PhD Vanderci de Andrade Aguilera, in a post-graduate degree in Language Studies – State University of Londrina (UEL) is intended to draw short dialogues between the Media and Dialectology. This science of language contributes greatly to the analysis of contemporary media production; it represents another dimension of culture, little explored as an area of subjectivity and knowledge. For this, a scene from the soap-opera Senhora do destino, produced and broadcast by Globo Television Network from 2004 to 2005, serving as a field of convergence between the research and communicational dialectology. The participation of the master's degree in Language Studies, Daniela Pastorelli, advisees of Professor Vanderci Aguilera was very important in the graphematic transcription and dialects analysis of the characters in the scene examined.
