THE ROLE OF THE ARGUMENT OF AUTHORITY IN VIEW OF SPEECH ON QUOTA POLICIES IN BRAZILIAN UNIVERSITIES

The intent of the following article is to analyze the role of the authoritative report from media discourse, on the construction of pictures and of values that influence in the decision-making from the public. As a force of intent, it will be used a report showed in Veja magazine 2011 issue on 6th, june 2007 which arguments over the polemical theme of the membership on superior teaching institutions in Brazil. To do it so, we based especially on the theoretic assumption of the Rethoric, specifically over the authors Rodrigues (2005), Dittrich (2003) e Bakhtin (1995), among others, who traverse over argumentation, enunciation, authoritative report end characteristics from the reports gender.
