In 1974, is staged the play Português, escritor, 45 anos de idade. Written during the government of Salazar, the text reveals the critical portrait of a historical era and wants to curb the possible existence of new dictatorships. This study aims at analyzing this santarenian play, and also collate, through references in it placed the political thoughts of various authors about this time.
