THE REALITY AND THE RELATIONS ESTABLISHED BY UMWELT ON "O PRIMO BASILIO" EÇA DE QUEIROS

The thing that separates realistic Naturalism movement above is the attempt to explain the real world through fiction and of scientific knowledge. The literature would be a product of objective observation of the natural and the real world, and in it the predominant influence of the environment. Thus, the man would be like a machine guided the actions of physical and chemical laws, by heredity and the physical and social environment. From this reflection on this study will discuss the formation of the Umwelt, Cycle Functional and subjective universes of some characters from the novel "O primo Basilio" Realist-Naturalist writer Eça de Queiros. The work will include analysis of the novel published in 1878 and two audiovisual adaptations of the novel. It focuses specifically on the application of the theory of Thure von Uexkull and his son Jacob Von Uexkull, and pervade the theory of Reality pierciana and the process of redefinition of the new signs assigned works.Downloads
