Abstract

The present work results of the regionals music letters’s setting-up about the wetlander man sul-mato-grossense1   which, on the other hand, has the intention of realize how that man is uncovered and how is the formation of his culture and constitution. In the development of the work we realize that the music is important in this process of apprehension and devolution, because it reveals the subject that is inserted in this culture. In this study, we consider that the music, also is the product of this culture, together with its rhythms, musicalities, letters and ways of singing. However, and for the achievement of this research, we will highlight, in the middle of these aspects components of the musical manifestation, only the musical letters as an instrument for the examination of the identity of this wetlander man. Considering that the music (from of its letters) is an important cultural expression that reveals the constitution of this man. From its we can, in the same way, recognize the educational process of a culture and the main characteristics that compose the man. The theoretical reference that we utilize for the analysis, quoted before, is based on the Cultural-Historical Theory, mainly in the Theory of Activity of Leontiev. In the setting-up phase, were found out 133 songs that accost the wetland, hear were prioritized only which contained, in the title or in the verses of the songs, the word “wetland”, totalizing 36 works that will be analyzed. The research`s results show up that the identity constitution of the “sul-mato-grossense” wetlander is related with the pawns, cowboys and ropers, because these traces help to compose the identity and the wetlander way of life.
