Abstract

This article means to present for readers the poetry transitive aspects, classified by Lyra (1986), by choosing three chronicles written by Carlos Drummond de Andrade, between 1966 and 1967 years. These transitive aspects may represent the chronicler’s poetic conscience against the “daily boringness”, pointed by Melo (2003), composing a creative and journalistic product. Therefore, we demonstrate how poetry is inserted in the writer’s chronicle, transforming it in a different product while it is presented inside a newspaper. We may further mention the adoption of a hermeneutic posture for its development, in a way that we expose ourselves to the new interpretation possibilities about the subject.
