A CIDADE, O CONCEITO E A LÓGICA: O RIO DE JANEIRO (NÃO) É VIOLENTO?
Keywords:
Violência, Rio de Janeiro, Modernidade, História, Psicanálise, FronteirasAbstract
This article intends to analyze the current speech about violence in Brazil’s public sphere, specifically in Rio de Janeiro. The aim of this work is to discuss the logic that underlies current debates about everyday violence and the ways dealing with this social problem from the questioning of whether Rio de Janeiro would be violent or not. It starts with the premise that these speechs are organized in the modern dualistic logic, highlighted here as the logical frontiers, which works as a support for a particular ideal of civilization which must be reached from the overcoming of barbarism.Downloads
