TEACHING WORK MODE IN DISTANCE EDUCATION: A FIGURE OF TEACHER-TUTOR AND THE CONCEPT OF VIRTUAL DISCUSSION FORUM AS A TOOL OF WORK

This study analyzes the work that the teacher-tutor conceptual develops during the course of the discussion forums of Technology Course in Public Management at the Federal Institute of Paraná IFPR, in the light of a category of analysis for Mediation Information and Communication Technologies. Shows the forms of mediation and intervention made by the teacher-tutor conceptual each discipline while using the forum as a technological resource and electronically mediated interaction to the development of teaching and student learning. The results point to the need to rethink / revise the form of mediation conducted by teacher-tutors in the conceptual discussion forum as well as the performance of students, a position of passivity to a virtual interactivity. Since the discussion forum is considered one of the interfaces that allow the interchange of all participants in the process of Distance Education.
