ESTE TRABALHO FOCALIZA O ARTISTA QUE É CONSIDERADO POR ALGUNS ESTUDIOSOS COMO O MAIS INFLUENTE DO SÉCULO XX, E TEM COMO OBJETIVO COMPREENDER ESSE REVOLUCIONÁRIO E A REVOLUÇÃO QUE AJUDOU A DESENCADEAR. A FIM DE PROPORCIONAR A VISUALIZAÇÃO DO CONTEXTO ARTÍSTICO DA ÉPOCA, PRETENDEU RECONSTRUIR O CENÁRIO NO QUAL MARCEL DUCHAMP VIVEU E ATUOU, ALÉM DE REVISITAR SUAS INFLUÊNCIAS E MOTIVAÇÕES. VALEU-SE DO MÉTODO DIALÉTICO E DA PESQUISA BIBLIOGRÁFICA PARA COTEJAR O QUE DIZEM ALGUNS DOS ADMIRADORES E DOS ANTAGONISTAS DO HOMEM QUE MUDOU A FORMA DE SE PENSAR E DE SE FAZER ARTE NA ATUALIDADE. OS RESULTADOS DEMONSTRARAM QUE ESTABELECER UM CONTATO PRÓXIMO COM O PENSAMENTO E AS IDEIAS DO HOMEM MARCEL FOI FUNDAMENTAL PARA COLHER OS SUBSÍDIOS QUE PERMITIRAM DESVELAR O MITO DUCHAMP.
