THE CHALLENGES FOR THE INCLUSION OF NOMADIC GROUPS IN THE EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM

This article presents some of the challenges for real inclusion of the main Brazilian nomadic groups in the formal educational system. This is a study on the initiatives already taken by the federal government to implement the laws established by the LDB in the way of formal practices promote education groups such as gypsies, border communities and MST encampments. Were analyzed official documents of the federal government as well comom collected interviews with leaders of such movements and communities to draw a picture between the idealized and actually practiced with regard to the inclusion of communities in nômedas formal system of national education.Downloads
