Abstract

This article seeks to develop a general analysis about the pictorial experience as it is phenomenologically interviewed from the perspective of Merleau-Ponty. As well as understanding how the thinker interprets the rupture of modern art through the revolutionary figure of Paul Cézanne, and analyzing other contemporary artistic movements that broke with objectivist art. Remembering that objectivist art derives from a scientific conception of art that seeks to reduce everything, including artistic and pictorial experience, to explanatory elements of all kinds. Phenomenology, like modern art, seeks to break with these structures of thought that only impede the creative flow within artistic movements.
