The objective of this work is to analyze the relationships between youth and gender, based on three variables: education, work and income. The research has a quanti-qualitative approach, the data were collected in secondary sources and the subjects are the youths' totality between 18 and 29 years old, residents in the geographic micro-region of Toledo (composed of 21 municipal districts), located in the West area of the state of Parana. The results indicate that the female youths are reaching larger education levels than the male; however they present comparatively more difficulties of entering the job market and present lower wage than the male.
