Abstract

This paper integrates studies by study group "The teaching of grammar in a textual-discursive perspective," which focuses on teaching the Portuguese language from the interactionistconception of language, adopting genres of discourse as an object of language study and the text as a unit of meaning and teaching of reading practices, linguistic analysis and textual production. The work of the group consisting of the study and development of instructional sequences published in Pedagogical books in order to provide theoretical and practical benefit to teachers. Our goal in this paper is to show the results of application of a didactic sequence of the genus opinion article in a class of 8th grade, in order to reflect more specifically, from the practice of rewriting of texts by the students themselves, on the problems of textual coherence and use of linguistic variation in the analyzed texts.
