CONSIDERATIONS ABOUT READING AND TECHNOLOGY DIGITAL COMMUNICATION: SOME ASSUMPTIONS

ABSTRACT: This paper proposes a set of reflections concerning the redefinition needs about reading practices perceived in the context of the current society, characterized by the interplay between culture and digital media. This paper sets out to discuss how the Digital Communication Technologies (TCD) are in a significant portion of our daily practices today and thereby denying the convenience and understanding of these resources in order to encourage the development of student performance in reading activities in digital media. This study also proposes to examine the importance of Digital Communication Technologies about reading with the help of digital media and the consequent formation of readers. Is added that among the authors surveyed, concerning the theme, the postulates is emphasized in Chartier (2009), Bellei (2002), Zilberman (1991; 2009), Lévy (1996; 1997; 1999), Santaella (2001) among others.
