O HÁBITO DE LEITURA DO PROFESSOR DOS ANOS FINAIS DO ENSINO FUNDAMENTAL

As preocupações acerca da leitura são comuns no ambiente escolar e é do consenso de todos os educadores e estudiosos que a prática da leitura é de fundamental importância na formação de um sujeito crítico e consciente. O presente trabalho, porém, busca analisar outro sujeito da leitura no ambiente escolar: o professor. Em nossos estudos refletiremos sobre o perfil do professor dos anos finais do ensino fundamental em relação à leitura e à prática desta em sala de aula, bem como este leitor ou professor se coloca diante do texto: para buscar informações, para estudo do texto, para pretexto ou fruição? Para conhecer essa realidade do professor foi aplicado um questionário com 6 questões do tipo aberta e fechada com 19 professores. Para construir os pressupostos teóricos e análise dos dados obtidos, norteiam nosso trabalho Geraldi (1996), Silva (1988), Soares (2002) e Solé (1998). De acordo com os autores e as constatações feitas por meio das respostas concluiu-se que há uma necessidade urgente de revermos o papel do professor na aplicação das atividades de leitura em sala de aula e, principalmente, não com vistas a apontar culpados, mas sim, pensar as aporias das atividades de leitura quer do professor, quer do aluno.Downloads
