OUTLINES OF BODY
Keywords:
Corpo, Modificações corporais, Função estrutural da imagem.Abstract
In this work there is a series of questions about the concept of body. Initially the
author lists the question proposed by Spinoza and later taken up by Deleuze: "What can body?"
And continues to ask, which may, ultimately, the body changed? Also proposes the author to
think about the bodily changes adopted by the contemporary subject. Would, after all, the means
of intervention of the subject body a way to deal with the discomfort caused by the image of your
body? The text presents the known proposal of Lacan on the structural function of the image
formation of the ego. In philosophical thought, explores the dichotomy between reason and
body and suggests its inadequacy. Also discusses the unspeakable of the body, which it is not
training, not discipline, does not fit and not mold.
