NARRATING STORIES, PHOTOGRAPHING MOMENTS: WEAVING INTERSECTIONS BETWEEN ORAL NARRATIVE AND PHOTO ALBUMS

To speak of narrative and its relation to the picture we presented, first, some
formulations of the act of narrating and a clarification regarding the differences between
narrative, advice and information. We also talk about the role of image in communication and
mediation between man and reality. Finaly we present the family’s albums as records of moments
in life that recover a sense of oral narrative in the present.
