Abstract

The project "EncontrArte na escola" proposed integrating different artistic

activities through the performance on stage with focus on two main areas: the music and the

visual arts. Aimed at students in the public schools of Maringá, the project was structured in an

educational nature where a roadmap through questioning, tried to cause a perception of both the

interactive part of the technical virtuosity and sensitive of these areas but also move with the

intellection public. Thus, the "EncontrArte na escola" brought in its dynamic short, questions

like: what is popular music, folklore and art? What is the importance of technique, virtuosity and

history of these areas? What is Interdisciplinarity of music and visual arts (plastic)? How to

communicate without words and drawing a charge Khartoum as tools of communication? These

issues have the objective to promote discussion coordinated by the act of artistic appreciation,

integrated the resources of scenery, costumes and repertoire.
