A HYPERTEXTUAL PROPOSAL FOR THE FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHING-LEARNING PROCESS

Abstract

This article is about a different way of foreign language teaching, through digital communication technologies, in which the educators are encouraged to rethink their praxis in several ways but, mainly in harmony with the possibilities that the digital communication offers. We search to establish other directions to foreign language teaching, since the students are capable of access any foreign language outside the school, in a variety of ways, but mainly on the internet. We emphasize the importance of teachers acting as continuous researchers on their praxis and on their classroom, reflecting on the foreign language teaching related to the modern society. We present the results of a master degree research, where we developed a continuing education course, named Atelier, with foreign language teachers.
