DEGREE OF PATIENT SAFETY CULTURE IN PERCEPTION OF A MULTIDISCIPLINARY TEAM HOSPITAL

Objective: To analyze generalized perceptions about care (in) secure and identify the degree of patient safety culture among hospital multidisciplinary team. Materials and Methods: descriptive,cross-sectional, quantitative research, with the participation of 71 professionals of various categories of hum Public Teaching Hospital in the interior of Paraná, Brazil, who answered the questionaire "Research Hospital Patient Safety Culture" in period April to June 2014. At tabulated data proceeded if descriptive statistical analysis in proportion measures at categorical variables. Results: It was revealed that the understanding of professionals, it is more important to carry out the activities that are of their task to perform a care quality and (57.7%) safely; that mistakes do not happen by chance (40%); and that there are security problems in the labor sector (68.5%). However, the same workers attributed, at most, rated "Acceptable" Patient Safety Grade. Conclusion: It was concluded that the Patient Safety Grade between hospital multidisciplinary team is dissonant to compare the widespread perception of this well.
