Objective: to describe prenatal dental follow-up in Basic Health Units and in Maternal and Child Center in Foz do Iguaçu-PR. Method: descriptive, retrospective and quantitative study, with search for data in the Health Information System of the municipality, from 2018 to 2021. Results: in this period, the basic health units assisted 8,337 pregnant women and only 28.58% (n=2,382) underwent dental follow-up. There was an increase in prenatal dental care in 2021, justified by the agreement with Previne Brasil Program. At Maternal and Child Center, of the 439 prenatal consultations, 68.56% (n=301) were Paraguayan/Brazilian and dental follow-up only occurred in 2021, with care close to all pregnant women 97.14% (n=102). Conclusions: data show the low offer of dental follow-up, the need for education in oral health for Brazilian pregnant women and for Brazilian/Paraguayan women, and permanent education for professionals working in the border region from Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina.
