This study investigated musculoskeletal injuries in amateur dancers from Cascavel, Paraná, Brazil. Twenty-eight dancers reported pain in the last 12 months, mainly in the ankles/feet and knees, with half seeking medical attention. The persistence of symptoms highlights the need for long-term prevention strategies. However, seeking medical attention was limited, raising questions about awareness. The importance of awareness and self-care is highlighted, indicating the need for future research and multidisciplinary interventions to improve dancers' health and performance.
