This theoretical article brings together authors who present an interpretation of the processes of subjectivation of our time, marked by algorithmic capture and modulation. Control through the modulation of subjectivity depends on data extractors that form the substrate of the information regime. Big techs concentrate users on a global scale, creating the phenomenon of hypermass. We no longer speak of a cultural industry, but rather of a superindustry of the imaginary. The fantasy of totality and completeness is fed back by the users themselves, who regulate themselves based on the exploration, above all, of two passions: love and hate. The renunciation of the “self” in favor of love for the “leader” depends on a third party, to whom all hate is opposed. This movement of the two passions – love and hate – is also at the base of the so-called digital bubbles.
