Abstract

This study aims to determine which sustainable practices are implemented by the Brazilian Tennis Confederation (CBT). To achieve this objective, a case study approach was used, which included interviews and document analysis, as well as direct observation at sporting events promoted by the CBT. When examining the information, it was observed that the organization implements several actions, such as carbon offsetting in events and the use of recycled materials in sports venues. However, financial and structural obstacles restrict the expansion of these initiatives. Furthermore, it was observed that the CBT's dedication to becoming a "Zero Carbon" entity highlights its role as a reference for other sports organizations, fostering a sustainable future in Brazilian sports and for athletes in general. It is recommended that education and social inclusion programs be implemented, as well as the creation of partnerships with sustainable companies.
