Linguistic and portuguese language: a small reflection about their implications in the teaching

Abstract

             This article has the objective to show the contribution that
Linguistic - cohesion, coherence, pragmatic - can give to Portuguese
language teaching in the domain of the text for the student. To overcome
this well known difficulty we present how a text can be approached
using the linguistic elements. The results of this methodology have been
positive in the intellectual aspect (text knowledge) and in the emotional
aspect (promotion of the self-steem).
